Andrews Photography
History
Andrews Photography was founded by Dale Andrews in
1938 and was first located in his home on the corner of Spring Street
and Clark in Big Rapids.
Over the years the studio has been in several
locations in the downtown area. Dale operated the studio doing
everything from commercial photography to family photography, weddings
and everything in between. During those years the mainstay of the
business was black and white portraiture.
In 1992 Wayne Stafford, Dale’s friend and
neighbor, purchased the studio. Since that time Andrews Photography has
continued to make it a priority to stay abreast with the latest
technologies in traditional and contemporary portraiture. As a member
of the Professional Photographers of America, West Michigan
Professional Photographers, and the Mecosta County Area Chamber of
Commerce we believe in continued education in business and the Art of
Photography.
The studio remains a low volume studio that takes
pride in personalized and friendly service with an emphasis on quality
products.
